Generosity Quotes

Quotes About Generosity
  • Generosity is a quality that many men admire. But if a prince develops a reputation for generosity, he will ruin his state. A reputation for generosity requires outward lavishness, which eventually depletes all of the prince’s resources. In the end, the prince will be forced to burden his people with excessive taxes in order to raise the money to maintain his reputation for generosity. Ultimately, the prince’s liberality will make the people despise and resent him. ~Niccolò Machiavelli
  • Blessed are those who can give without remembering, and take without forgetting. --PRINCESS ELIZABETH ASQUITH BIBESCO
  • Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need. --Khalil Gibran
  • Generosity is a function of the heart, not the wallet. --Wayne Dyer
  • Generosity is doing something for someone else and expecting nothing in return.

Putting People First | MWM
The Power Of Generosity = Be generous, especially in times of challenge. Generosity isn’t just about giving money—it’s about putting people first, even when it costs you. True generosity multiplies. What a leader gives away in trust, time, or care always returns in greater measure.

The Key to Success & Significance | MWM

A Generous Mindset Can Bring You Lots of Joy = Generous people are normally very, very fulfilled. If you have been blessed, the best way to take those blessings is to turn them around and pass them on to others. Selfish people are often unhappy, but unselfish, generous people are always fulfilled and happy. Generous people are serving and living for others. By having an abundance and generous mindset, others will be attracted to you because you put others first.

Comparison Kills Generosity | MWM

Give Others What You Value = There is no higher level of living than giving without expecting anything in return. People who embody generosity experience incredible freedom and happiness. Comparison kills generosity. The measure of your generosity is based on what you have, not what you give. Don’t let possessions take charge of your mind. If you are enslaved to greed, you cannot lead.

A Person Who Gives is a Person Who’s Fulfilled
https://youtu.be/AE_Y0jyyMeY
Be Happy, Be Generous! = The happiest people in the world are generous. People who give are fulfilled. We were created to help one another and to share. When we act out who we are supposed to be, it gives us a sense of fulfillment in following that purpose. Give more to the people you see today!

The Impact of Generosity | MWM
Be Generous, Give Back What You Earn = Be generous with your money. As you are building your life and businesses, always strive to have three sources of income. And then give back what you can financially to others. Being generous with your money allows you to serve others and help those you otherwise wouldn't have been able to help. You can't give what you don't have, and once you earn more, pass it on.
The Impact Of Generosity = Because of generosity, you can have—or give—the ability and resources to others to do things they wouldn't otherwise be able to do.

Generosity Gives Back To All = By living a generous life, you set aside time and resources to give to others. This practice will not only benefit others, but also benefit you. Based on the practice of tithing, you give 10% of what you have back to God. You need to have an open hand in life in order to give more and accept more in life, giving what you have where it is needed most.

Generosity
Generosity is an attitude = Generosity doesn’t have anything to do with blessings or money, it is an attitude. There are people who have very little, but are always sharing what they have with others. There are others who have a lot, but hold on tightly to what is theirs. What kind of person are you? Are you a generous person, opening yourself to receive more?
Generosity Is A Mindset = Generosity isn't about money, it's an attitude. Generosity is the idea that if you keep what you have, you can't have more. But If you open yourself up to give more, you can also receive more.

Success Stabilizers

A person that owns their money, instead of their money owning them. No matter how much you have, pass along a little bit of wisdom or wealth to help others succeed.

Become a river... allow others to share the greatness with you. Be a giver, it will be your greatest joy, no matter how little or how much you have!

How to Be A Leader That People Love To Follow | John Maxwell

Jealousy is almost always rooted in insecurity. Whether we’re comparing ourselves to strangers on social media or feeling inferior to a new colleague, jealousy is an emotion that can trap us in a self-perpetuating cycle of discontent.
Once we recognize where our jealousy comes from — feeling self-conscious about our looks or sensing distance from a romantic partner, for instance — we can begin to address the real issues and take constructive steps toward handling our envy.
This may look like building our self-confidence or initiating vulnerable conversations with loved ones who might not always realize how their actions affect us. If we don’t make an effort to change our perspective or our actions, jealousy can continue to fester inside us, leading to increased alienation and frustration.
Perhaps one of the hardest things to remember is that jealousy is a natural human emotion, and it’s OK to feel this way from time to time. Judging ourselves for feeling envious only makes it more difficult to heal.

As John Maxwell says in today’s lesson, “The more we grow, the more we know we need to grow.” As we develop ourselves, our awareness of the areas in which we need to improve expands. So, in today’s episode, John teaches something that author Ken Blanchard calls “the four development levels that move people from dependence to independence.”
In other words, these are the stages through which we become less dependent on what got us here and more focused on what will take us there. After John’s lesson, Mark Cole and Chris Goede discuss their own journeys from dependence to independence and how they are applying these principles at Maxwell Leadership.

There is No Success Without Action | MWM
Success Requires Action = Application is an everyday essential for your personal growth. No matter how much you learn, reflect, write, or share, nothing happens without action. When you take action, you build traction, and attract people, places, things, opportunities, and resources that will help you succeed.

MWM | WHEN DIRECTION MEETS DISCIPLINE
Don’t wait—take action today = In his new book From Drift to Drive, Chris talks about the power of action—when direction meets discipline. Growth comes from taking consistent, committed action, even if it’s not perfect. Too often, people wait for clarity or courage. Don’t wait—take action today.

There is No Success Without Action
Success Requires Action = Application is an everyday essential for your personal growth. No matter how much you learn, reflect, write, or share, nothing happens without action. When you take action, you build traction, and attract people, places, things, opportunities, and resources that will help you succeed.

The Slightest Action is Worth More Than Every Last Word
Be Leaders Of Action = Action makes things happen. It is getting up and acting on what you believe, not relying on feelings, sentiments, or words. Isaiah 41 says, “they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength.” But it is important to understand that waiting doesn’t always mean to sit still … At a restaurant a waiter waits on the tables, but is very active. Waiting on the lord means to be active and busy as you allow God to work in your life. Our waiting today needs to be active service.

Take What You Have and Do Something With It
Activate Powerful, Positive Change = Inside a leader there is a propensity to do something, a passion to make something happen. Take what you have, and do something with it. To the person who has been given much, much is required. This means we need to activate and make the world a better place because everyone deserves to be led well.

Today’s Actions Lead to Tomorrow’s Results
Today’s Intentions Link To Tomorrow’s Successes = Our actions today link to our results tomorrow, and our results tomorrow link to our actions the next day. If you want results tomorrow, realize the link to today’s action. If you want results next year, realize the intentionality needed today. We are better because of links. What will your link be today for a better tomorrow?

The Greatest Success in Communication is Action - THE LAW OF RESULTS
Take Action! - The greatest success in communication is action. Good communicators want the audience to apply and multiply. They add value to leaders who multiply value in others. Have a plan for growth and take action. You need to take action in order to gain traction to move forward.

https://youtu.be/w08KV7CltCw
Act Your Way Into Greatness = Is there something you've been holding off on, but know you need to do? The more you wait, the longer it will take to happen. Great things will happen as soon as you take action.

Don't be a Benchwarmer

Don't be a Benchwarmer = There is no better time than now. Don't wait for life to pass you by, take action today! In order to make something happen, you must act on it.

https://youtu.be/49QJDzsZfS4

Evaluate your daily actions.
Are they helping you achieve your goals or holding you back?
Make conscious choices to prioritize what truly matters.

Scriptures
James 1:15 NLT - 15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
James 2:14, 21-22, 25 NLT - 14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? ... 21 Don't you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. ... 25 Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road.
