What Change is Born From

Have Hope For Change = John Maxwell begins his book, Change Your World, with the statement, “Hope has two daughters, anger and courage.” Anger at how things currently are, and courage to go make a difference. That is how we can change our world.
We need to be angry about the unfair, injustices of the world. The things that won’t improve unless we are angry enough to do something about them. We need courage to stand up, declare that we want to make a difference, and do something about the issues.
It is important to understand that before we can change our world, we have to change ourselves. Transformation doesn’t begin with others, it begins with yourself. The moment we make good decisions, embrace good values, and do our part to make a difference, we are able to help others make a difference also.

Control Your Emotions = Although it may be easy to get caught up in your emotions, don't get stuck in the anger hole! We are given a choice daily, do not allow anger to consume you and destroy the journey you are taking. Let go of what you cannot control and focus on what you can.
