Share The High Road With Others = John Maxwell’s new book, High Road Leadership, discusses the twelve qualities of a high road leader. A Leader’s Lasting Value is Measured by Succession | MWM
Extend Your Legacy = In his book, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, John Maxwell discusses the Law of Legacy, which says that a leader’s lasting value is measured by succession. If you want your leadership and legacy to be long-lasting, you need to hand the baton on to someone else to follow in your footsteps. Look around … Who will you hand your baton to?

What Legacy Are You Leaving? | MWM

Start today determining what you believe, what you want to be known for, what you want to show the world you stand for, and then take action to build that legacy. Don’t let someone else decide your legacy for you, live it out the way you want to.

legacy doesn’t necessarily fall in your lap; it doesn’t choose you, you get to choose it. Start today determining what you believe, what you want to be known for, what you want to show the world you stand for, and then take action to build that legacy. Don’t wait until the end of your life—don’t let someone else decide your legacy for you as they’re busy planning your funeral. You have the rest of your life to live out your legacy now.

Every person leaves some kind of legacy, whether positive or negative. I believe we have a choice about the legacy we’ll leave, and we have to be intentional to leave the legacy we want.

The most important first step is knowing the legacy you want to leave. Most people accept their lives, but they don’t lead them. Being proactive and intentional about how to live is important to leaders. It’s influential.

The Bible is a book of faith, and a book of doctrine, and a book of morals, and a book of religion, of special revelation from God; but it is also a book which teaches man his own individual responsibility, his own dignity, and his equality with his fellow-man.

Wealth enough to support your needs.
Strength to battle with difficulties and overcome them.
Grace enough to confess your sins and forsake them.
Patience enough to toil until some good is accomplished.
Charity enough to see some good in your neighbor.
Love enough to move you to be useful and helpful to others.
Faith enough to make real the things of God.
Hope enough to remove all anxious fears concerning the future." -- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Be God-Centered = You can parent with purpose by teaching your children faith. Show your children how to have a good relationship with God and to know and communicate with Him. As parents we have to be an example of this. Share with your children what God is doing in your life and how he leads you. Be God centered so that your children can see that every good and perfect gift comes from God.

2 Corinthians 1:24 (MSG) We’re not in charge of how you live out the faith, looking over your shoulders, suspiciously critical. We’re partners, working alongside you, joyfully expectant. I know that you stand by your own faith, not by ours.
Luke 17:5 (MSG) The apostles came up and said to the Master, “Give us more faith.”
Galatians 3:12 This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”

Hebrews 11:6 ESV And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Hebrews 11 Faith in Action Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. ...
