Collaborate Quotes

Quotes About Collaborate
  • Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.   --Henry Ford
  • Unity is strength... when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.
  • Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
  • Individual commitment to a group effort -- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.  Vince Lombardi
  • If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.
  • Collaboration, n.: A literary partnership based on the false assumption that the other fellow can spell.
  • Collaborate, don't dictate. --George A. Romeo

One is Too Small a Number for Greatness | MWM
Invite Others Into Your Journey = Those who collaborate understand that the key to greatness is in the people around them. Greatness comes from engaging with others and inviting them into your journey. The people that surround you, who have joined you in that journey, allow you to be bigger and accomplish greater things.

None of Us is as Good as All of Us | MWM
Together We Can Achieve Anything = Collaboration is the secret to transforming a mere organization into a dynamic ecosystem of innovation and success. It allows the whole to be greater than the sum of its parts—talent, ideas, and expertise coming together to achieve shared goals. Collaboration is more than just working together … It is about building relationships based on trust and respect. Together we can achieve anything.

Some of Your Greatest Thinking Has Been Done by Others
Ask For Help From Others = It is all about collaboration. John Maxwell says that most of his great thinking is done by others. Take the subject that you want to write about—think it through and write it down—then invite others around the table and ask them to help you. They will ALWAYS make it better.

Shared Thinking Leads To Better Ideas = Collaboration makes a difference. People who participate in shared thinking and collaboration come up with better thoughts and ideas together than those who only rely on their own thinking. That is the power of shared and sustained thinking.

No Matter the Thought, Collaboration Makes it Better | MWM
https://youtu.be/ljhGqf8T-08
Don't Be a Lone Ranger= Think about all that we can do on our own, now imagine you have other like-minded individuals that can enhance your thinking and abilities. As John says, when you collaborate you go further and faster than doing it alone. Together, we can achieve so many things!
Everything expands when you collaborate = Everything expands when you collaborate. It gets bigger. It gets better. And it comes quicker. When you collaborate, you go farther and you go faster than trying to do it by yourself.

Are you simply cooperating with people to achieve greatness or collaborating with them? If you are striving for excellence and higher-level thinking, collaboration is the way to go. The difference—cooperation is working well together while collaboration is “wanting” to work together. In the great words of John, "to collaborative team members, completing one another is more important than competing with one another."

Cooperation is great. But if you are striving for excellence and higher-level thinking, planning, creating and success, collaboration is the way to go. The difference—cooperation is working well together while collaboration is “wanting” to work together. When you want to work with others, you are learning, engaging in creativity and making synergy, combining good ideas to generate great ideas, and valuing others. In other words, you are making yourself better!

John Steinbeck was born in Salinas, California, where he spent the summers of his youth working on nearby ranches — the setting for much of his literary work, including "Of Mice and Men" and "East of Eden." His experiences gave him insights into the lives of the downtrodden, who often served as the protagonists in his novels. These struggles, not to mention living through the Great Depression, gave Steinbeck a greater appreciation for the good times he enjoyed. Steinbeck followed up the quote above with, "You only truly, deeply appreciate and are grateful for something when you compare and contrast it to something worse."

Would You Rather Win or Be Kind? | MWM
Would You Rather Win Or Be Kind? = If you have the choice to be right—to win—or be kind, always choose to be kind. You don't always have to be right, you don't have to win everything, instead we can be kind and ask others their opinions in order to connect.

What it Really Means to be Kind | MWM
Look For A Need = Take advantage of today to be kind. Kindness embodies being good, while also taking useful action. It is being nice and helpful, gentle and useful, compassionate and generous, being positive and doing good. Kindness doesn’t only mean being nice, it means a willingness to act. Look for a need and meet it if you can. Who can you be kind to today?

What Kindness is and is Not
https://youtu.be/cCJjaOQSX-o
Encourage Others! = One of the 7 words of love from Joel Manby’s book, Love Works, is Kind—an extremely important leadership principle. As leaders, we must have tough conversations with people and hold them accountable, but we can still lead with kindness. We do this by making someone’s day better. Every time you come into contact with someone, you can make their day better or make their day worse. Every day, try to provide encouragement in each of your interactions, be positive, and improve the day. (You can learn more about the 7 timeless principles for effective leaders in Love Works)

Compassion in the Small Things | MWM
Compassion Is The Heart Of Leadership = The heart of leadership is compassion. Compassion is empathy in action. It's not just about feeling for someone's struggle, it's about doing something to support them in it. Compassion is in the small things, in the meaningful actions, where it shows you are paying attention to them. So, what is one practical way you can support someone and have compassion?

Do for Yourself What You Do for Others | MWM
Give Yourself Grace = Compassion is when you are kind and understanding towards yourself and others. When we practice self-compassion, it lowers our stress levels and helps us be more resilient and strong. Where in your life do you need to be more compassionate with yourself?

Help Carry Someone Else’s Load | MWM
Relate With Others = Empathy is figuring out a way to understand what another person is feeling, and it allows you to know what it is like to walk in their shoes. When you have empathy you can see into the soul of another’s struggle and relate with them. Be an empathetic leader, help the people around you carry their load.

The 3 Questions People Are Asking About You
Care More, Do More! = Compassionate people are quick to help. Their caring translates into actions. When people care, trust increases and communication improves. Make a commitment today to care a little more and do more for others.

How to Relieve Stress and Improve Persistence
Be A Friend To Yourself = Do you beat yourself up? Instead, treat yourself as kindly as you would treat a good friend if they were dealing with the same challenge or mistake. When we are compassionate towards ourselves, it lowers our stress levels, helps us persevere, and just feel better. Where have you been too hard on yourself?

Less of a Feeling = Look beyond yourself, focus on others. Put yourself into someone else's shoes and show them how much you care. Invest, connect, and make a difference in someones life today!

Do you care enough to be intentional about adding values to others? Every single day, find one person or multiple people to add value to. Don't let a day go by where you don't pour into someone else!
