When you bridge the generational gap, you make everything stronger! = There arefive generationsrepresented in many workplaces today, and yes, this can make things a bitcomplicated. Each generation has something to offer, but they are more alike than they are different. When you really look at it, our reactions, our priorities, and our quirks aren't really tied to our generation, they are tied to our age and our season of life—our current life challenges are what shape how we show up more than what decade we were born. And when we lean into what makes us different, and what makes us similar, everyone wins. At the end of the day, diversity of age and experience isn't just nice to have, it's valuable—when you embrace it, you don't just bridge the generational gap, you make something stronger.

When an organization has a more inclusive group of varied perspectives, the organization is better and makes better decisions.
It is also important to be exclusive based on values. So, figure out your values—be exclusive based on values—but be inclusive in every other area! Welcome a diversity of thought and perspective into your life, so you can be your very best self.

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. ...
