The Seasons of Life = If you want to get the most out of life, maximize the seasons. Some moments might be full of victories and other times you're coasting through the days. It's all about balance!

If you’re looking for daily balance, you will never find it. Life has a way of surprising you on any given day, at any given moment, and it can throw you off track. If you think of the bigger picture and view this moment as a part of a season rather than just a moment on its’ own, you can better determine who or what needs your focus and attention now—your family, your business, your relationships.

Cheryl Strayed’s memoir "Wild" was a runaway hit in more ways than one. It was so tremendously popular that it ended up being made into a film starring Reese Witherspoon. Its narrative followed the author’s decision, after the death of her mother, to run away from her life and marriage and walk the Pacific Crest Trail alone. It was during that trek that, impelled by a desire to leave the difficulties of her past behind and start over anew, she changed her last name. Because it was impossible for her to go on as before, Cheryl strayed, and went on as she never had.

WHAT DO YOU LEARN WHEN YOU FAIL?

John Maxwell believes that losing is an opportunity to learn. But many people do not seize it. When they don't, losing really hurts.

In Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn, John explores the most common lessons we learn when we experience loss.

He then explains how to turn a setback into a step forward by examining the eleven elements that make up the DNA of those who learn:

Humility - The Spirit of Learning
Reality - The Foundation of Learning
Responsibility - The First Step of Learning
Improvement - The Focus of Learning
Hope - The Motivation of Learning
Teachability - The Pathway of Learning
Adversity - The Catalyst of Learning
Problems - The Opportunities of Learning
Bad Experiences - The Perspective for Learning
Change - The Price of Learning
Maturity - The Value of Learning

As John often points out--experience isn't the best teacher; evaluated experience is.

MWM | TIMING
Don't hold off until tomorrow—today matters—do it now. = Timing is important—the time you have now is the only time you have to act on. People often wait for the right time to make the right decision, but waiting causes us to miss some great opportunities. We overexaggerate yesterday, we overestimate tomorrow, but we underestimate today. Don't hold off until tomorrow—today matters—do it now.

The Difference Between a Foul Ball and a Home Run | MWM
Practice Your Timing, In Leadership = In his book, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, John Maxwell discusses the Law of Timing, which says that when to lead is as important as what to do and where to go. Success is a lot about timing. This is a difficult law to learn and you can improve your timing with practice!

https://youtu.be/BnH8Qbk2D-E
"Do it now" = If there is one thing we've learned during these times, it's that time is precious. Every day is filled with new challenges, new excitement, and new adventures. The lesson here is: live in the moment, stop allowing time to pass. Act today on whatever it is you want to invest in - personal growth, new adventures, new businesses, and so much more!

Punctual Quotes

Quotes About Punctual

  • Unpunctuality is a vile habit. --Winston Churchill
  • Punctuality is the thief of time. --Oscar Wilde
  • Sooner or later, I'll be punctual. --Ashleigh Brilliant
  • Argh... I could be better with my time. I like to be punctual, but I could be better. --Kelly Rowland
  • My Aunt Minnie would always be punctual and never hold up production, but who would pay to see my Aunt Minnie? ---Billy Wilder
  • Now, this is probably the place to consider punctuality in the work of God, also. Isn’t it strange that the very fault that would wreck a business, sink a ship, ruin a railroad, is tolerated at the very altar of God? ‌Why is it that in the church of God so few are concerned about lack of punctuality? The carelessness they show about the work of God would wreck a business or upset the economy, or if done in our bodies would ruin our health.… ‌I have been around a long time and I am convinced that generally people are not spiritual at all if they are not punctual. If they are so lacking in self-discipline and so selfish and so inconsiderate of others and their time that they will not be punctual in the service of God and His church, they are fooling nobody! I repeat it again—if you are not punctual, you are not spiritual! ‌Everyone can be excused for the emergencies of life—there are accidents that will at times keep any of us from meeting our appointments. But I am trying to show my concern about those who practice the art of not being punctual until it has become a habit in their life. There isn’t anyone important enough to justify that kind of behavior, and anybody that is not punctual, habitually, is guilty of deception and falsehood. He says he will be there—then he fails to appear! ‌--A. W. Tozer (Who Put Jesus on the Cross?, 25, 26.)

Money Creates Options | MWM
Money Gives You Options = Money gives you options. You are able to make more decisions in your life—the kind of car you drive, vacations you can take, and options on generosity. You cannot give what you do not have—if you want to give more, do more, experience more, and have more options in life—it really does come back to making more money.
