Anoint Quotes

Quotes About Anointed

  • There are too many leaders anointed because they have a public voice - television, radio, or record, or whatever. That even includes myself. In the past, I'd say, 'Don't anoint me when you can anoint yourself.' --Chuck D.
  • God is not obligated to anoint what He does not initiate. --Joyce Meyer
  • Superstars think like superstars long before the fans or the press anoint them. --John Eliot
  • If you want to live in the fullness of God's anointing, fill your mouth with His Word. --Joyce Meyer
  • When you come in contact with the anointing of God, it not only affects your moment, it affects your tomorrow. --Creflo A. Dollar
  • The breaking of the alabaster box and the anointing of the Lord filled the house with the odor, with the sweetest odor. Everyone could smell it. Whenever you meet someone who has really suffered; been limited, gone through things for the Lord, willing to be imprisoned by the Lord, just being satisfied with Him and nothing else, immediately you scent the fragrance. There is a savor of the Lord. Something has been crushed, something has been broken, and there is a resulting odor of sweetness. --Watchman Nee

Captive Quotes

Quotes About Captive

  • Captive people have a need for song. --Michelle Cliff
  • Humanity needs practical men, who get the most out of their work, and, without forgetting the general good, safeguard their own interests. But humanity also needs dreamers, for whom the disinterested development of an enterprise is so captivating that it becomes impossible for them to devote their care to their own material profit. --Marie Curie

Are You Holding Onto Your Listeners?
Hold Them Captive = When someone is captivating, they hold the attention of others. This is a difficult challenge today as attention spans continue to drop. If we are engaging and captivating, we have a chance to hold the attention of others long enough for them to act on our words. The key is to hold people captive with the great ideas you have to deliver.

Collaborate Quotes

Quotes About Collaborate
  • Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.   --Henry Ford
  • Unity is strength... when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.
  • Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
  • Individual commitment to a group effort -- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.  Vince Lombardi
  • If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.
  • Collaboration, n.: A literary partnership based on the false assumption that the other fellow can spell.
  • Collaborate, don't dictate. --George A. Romeo

One is Too Small a Number for Greatness | MWM
Invite Others Into Your Journey = Those who collaborate understand that the key to greatness is in the people around them. Greatness comes from engaging with others and inviting them into your journey. The people that surround you, who have joined you in that journey, allow you to be bigger and accomplish greater things.

None of Us is as Good as All of Us | MWM
Together We Can Achieve Anything = Collaboration is the secret to transforming a mere organization into a dynamic ecosystem of innovation and success. It allows the whole to be greater than the sum of its parts—talent, ideas, and expertise coming together to achieve shared goals. Collaboration is more than just working together … It is about building relationships based on trust and respect. Together we can achieve anything.

Some of Your Greatest Thinking Has Been Done by Others
Ask For Help From Others = It is all about collaboration. John Maxwell says that most of his great thinking is done by others. Take the subject that you want to write about—think it through and write it down—then invite others around the table and ask them to help you. They will ALWAYS make it better.

Shared Thinking Leads To Better Ideas = Collaboration makes a difference. People who participate in shared thinking and collaboration come up with better thoughts and ideas together than those who only rely on their own thinking. That is the power of shared and sustained thinking.

No Matter the Thought, Collaboration Makes it Better | MWM
https://youtu.be/ljhGqf8T-08
Don't Be a Lone Ranger= Think about all that we can do on our own, now imagine you have other like-minded individuals that can enhance your thinking and abilities. As John says, when you collaborate you go further and faster than doing it alone. Together, we can achieve so many things!
Everything expands when you collaborate = Everything expands when you collaborate. It gets bigger. It gets better. And it comes quicker. When you collaborate, you go farther and you go faster than trying to do it by yourself.

Are you simply cooperating with people to achieve greatness or collaborating with them? If you are striving for excellence and higher-level thinking, collaboration is the way to go. The difference—cooperation is working well together while collaboration is “wanting” to work together. In the great words of John, "to collaborative team members, completing one another is more important than competing with one another."

Cooperation is great. But if you are striving for excellence and higher-level thinking, planning, creating and success, collaboration is the way to go. The difference—cooperation is working well together while collaboration is “wanting” to work together. When you want to work with others, you are learning, engaging in creativity and making synergy, combining good ideas to generate great ideas, and valuing others. In other words, you are making yourself better!

MWM | The Freedom Myth
The Freedom Myth of Leadership = As leaders, we often think that when we get to the top we’ll no longer be limited and have more freedom, but that isn't the case. When you do actually get to the top, your responsibility increases, and your freedoms decrease. Once you get to that desired position you learn that you are no longer responsible for just yourself, but are also responsible for others and their actions. When you get to the top the freedom is not there, but your fulfillment is.

Freedom Gives Us Options = When we have freedom and options in our lives, it allows us to be the best we can be … to develop, grow, learn, and be better. People who reach their potential are a product of the freedom and options they have in their life. Freedom reminds us of the price that has been paid in our country, but also of the privileges and options we have.
