  • Some people feel guilty about their anxieties and regard them as a defect of faith but they are afflictions, not sins. Like all afflictions, they are, if we can so take them, our share in the passion of Christ. --C. S. Lewis

  • When somebody shares, everybody wins. --Jim Rohn

Some of Your Greatest Thinking Will be Done by Others | MWM
Share What You Learn = The 4th essential to growth is sharing what you learn. Sharing has compounding results. A great thought is a result of several good thoughts. When you share, you multiply the potential for a great thought. Collaboration leads to improved and matured thoughts and ideas.

The Power of Sharing Credit with Others | MWM
The Power of Sharing Credit with Others = The charismatic leader is all about swimming upstream, climbing a hill, and doing things that others are not willing to do—and one of the things people want is to receive credit from others for what they have done as a part of their journey. A true leader will recognize that other people have been there to help them, and share that credit for being part of the journey. By sharing the credit, you will help them—and you—and you both will rise to a higher level.

Are You Telling, or Are You Creating a Shared Experience?
Have A Hunger To Learn = When the student is ready, the teacher appears. Leaders should work to share an experience rather than just teaching it. A really good teacher makes the student part of the lesson, instead of trying to make the lesson part of the student. Teach well by sharing what you know with others.

Evangelism Quotes

Quotes About Evangelism

  • When you build relationships, you get to share your beliefs. It gives you the opportunity to share your faith with other people. --Andy Pettitte
  • I believe in having a more open mind and including others who don't share your faith and having a dialogue with them. And just having a pure heart and being a good person can bring you closer to God. Because once you believe in one particular religion fully and not others, that requires you to start disliking people who don't share your views. --Ishmael Beah
  • To me, the model example of how to share your faith is Jesus with the woman at the well in John 4. He was patient with her. He took time for her. To some degree, she was kind of disrespectful to Him at first, initially kind of blowing off what he said and blowing off what he was saying to her. But then, as it continued on, she began to understand and ultimately believed. --Greg Laurie
  • You begin saving the world by saving one man at a time; all else is grandiose romanticism or politics. --CHARLES BUKOWSKI

Share Your Faith Positively = Share your faith in a positive way with other people. Every person is created by God, and they intuitively want to know God. When they don't know God, it is because they have the wrong picture, so when you share your faith, share it in a positive way.

God Comes First = If you put God first, then you find that all the other things you need in life, you get. If you put everything else first, you will leave out of your life the most important relationship you'll ever have. If you put God and His kingdom first, then He will take care of all the others things in your life.

Scriptures
1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ did not send me [as an apostle] to baptize, but [commissioned and empowered me] to preach the good news [of salvation]—not with clever and eloquent speech [as an orator], so that the cross of Christ would not be made ineffective [deprived of its saving power].
Romans 15:20 My aim is to evangelize where Christ has not been named, so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation,
Acts 16:10 After he had seen the vision, we immediately made efforts to set out for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to evangelize them.
Philemon 1:6 I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.
Mark 16:15 ESV And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
Matthew 28:19-20 ESV Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
1 Peter 3:15 ESV But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
Romans 10:10-17 ESV For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? ...
Matthew 9:37-38 ESV Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Romans 1:16 ESV For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Are You Amazing, or is Your Gift? How to Stay Humble | MWM
Share Your Gifts With Others = The gift is always greater than the person. We all have been blessed with gifts that make us look better than we really are. Our gifts are what make us amazing, not us. These gifts are given to us not earned, but it is important that we work hard to reach the potential of our gifts and share them with others.

Staying Grounded Helps You Best Use Your Gifting
We Are Blessed With Gifts = The gift is always greater than the person. We all have been blessed with gifts that make us look better than we really are. Our gifts are what make us amazing, not us. These gifts are given to us not earned, but it is important that we work hard to reach the potential of our gifts and share them with others.
Our Gifts Make Us Better Than We Really Are = The gift is always greater than the person. We all have gifts in our life that make us look better than we really are—our gifts are what make us amazing, not us. These gifts are given to us, and it is important that we work hard at our gifts and share them with others.
It is important to understand the difference between who you are and what your gifts are. We all have some amazing gifts in our life, they lift us up and they make us look better than we really are.

There’s nothing better than getting a gift—except for, possibly, giving one! When you receive a gift, you feel appreciated, valued, and grateful for the thoughtful gesture and recognition. But when you give a gift, and you are able to make someone else feel all those same things, you will end up feeling fulfilled; and that’s an unmatched feeling. What gift can you give to make a difference in someone else’s life?

Practice Leads To Maximization = To maximize your gifts you have to practice, evaluate, and improve your gifts. You get better by practicing, and through practicing, you are permanently making your strengths bigger and better. Then, you have to evaluate what you have done so next time you can do it even better and improve your gifts. By following these steps you can become a genius one step at a time, through maximizing your gifts.

https://youtu.be/ejJD-Mh07h8
Steward The Gifts He Gives You = Manage and steward the gifts that God gave you. If you are given a lot of talent and skills, you need to use those skills to help those around you. Your strengths are the gifts that God gave you, and those same strengths fit your purpose in life. Once you find your strengths, don't get distracted, steward and manage your gifts wisely.

Merry Christmas! When you think of Christmas, you think of gifts. We give and receive gifts with one another. If you give a toy, it will be lost or forgotten. What isn't forgotten is memories! Continue to create new memories, for those will last forever.

Scriptures
Ephesians 4:11 And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct],
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”
1 Peter 4:10 Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor].
1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters].
Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Matthew 7:11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Matthew 23:19 (NIV) You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?
Romans 6:23 (NIV) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
James 1:17 ESV Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
Romans 11:29 ESV For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Partnership Quotes

Quotes About Partnership

  • A wedding anniversary is a celebration of love, trust, partnership, tolerance and tenacity. The order varies for any given year.
  • There is no peace among equals because equality doesn't exist in this universe. Either one prevails and the other follows, or both negotiate their differences and create a greater partnership.
  • Partnership is not a posture but a process-a continuous process that grows stronger each year as we devote ourselves to common tasks. --John F. Kennedy

A Good Partner is Hard to Find | MWM
Appreciate The Power Of Partnership = Partnerships, or work connections, can be rewarding and humbling. True partnership is one of the greatest gifts one could give you. Pause today, and appreciate the power and honor of the partnerships you have in your life. Great partners are hard to find, so when you do find one, express your gratitude.

Iron Sharpens Iron; Values Sharpen Values | MWM
Collaborate With Those Who Share Your Values = Partner with like-valued people—those who share your core values and ethical standards. These partnerships can lead to meaningful collaboration and result in sustainable relationships that have a strong foundation!

Can You Partner With Someone Who Disagrees With You? | MWM
Don’t Attach A Person’s Ideas To Their Motives = Great leaders are able to partner with people they disagree with. Disagreeing with someone is not the same as someone having a disagreeable character. There is a significant difference between believing the other side’s ideas are wrong and believing the other side’s motives are wrong. Disagreeing in a partnership is not a problem, but can be a strength if you learn how to work together. Leveraging differences as strengths in a partnership can strengthen you, your team, and your perspective.

We are Better Together | MWM
We Need Each Other = The best way to maximize positive outcomes is to partner with othersImprovement is limited without partnershipSharing influence and networking with others opens a whole new world to everyone involved. One is too small of a number to achieve greatness, it takes a partnership.

Partnerships are a great way for leaders to expand beyond their own limitations. When you partner with someone, you acquire their potential in addition to your own. Together, you have the ability to conquer new ground and increase your influence.

Building alliances is paramount to accomplishing much—working well together to increase effectiveness and return. If you have small goals and want to accomplish very little, go it alone. But if your dream is big and you want your influence to reach far, you’re going to need more than a one-man or woman crew. Come together to make great, world-changing things happen!

Partnership
P`ARTNERSHIP, n. The association of two or more persons for the purpose of undertaking and prosecuting any business, particularly trade or manufactures, at their joint expense. In this case, the connection is formed by contract; each partner furnishing a part of the capital stock and being entitled to a proportional share of profit, or subject to a proportional share of loss; or one or more of the partners may furnish money or stock, and the other or others contribute their services. The duration of the partnership may be limited by the contract, or it may be left indefinite, subject to be dissolved by mutual agreement. A partnership or association of this kind is a standing or permanent company, and is denominated a firm or house. We say, A and B entered into partnership for the importation and sale of goods, or for manufacturing cotton or glass.
Partnerships may be and usually are associations of private persons, not incorporated. In other cases, the company is incorporated. Banking companies in the United States are usually incorporated, and are essentially partnerships, but do not bear that name. Manufacturing companies are also frequently incorporated.
1. Joint interest or property.

Scriptures
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NLT) Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?
Philippians 1:5 for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.
1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT) God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Philippians 4:15 - And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only.
Philippians 1:5 - because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible to keep on restoring to repentance time and again people who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have become partners with the Holy Spirit,
Philippians 2:13 ESV For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Reflection Turns Experience into Insight | MWM
Be A Sustained Thinker = The third growth practice is to think daily and apply what you have learned. Evaluated experience is the best teacher. Reflection turns experience into insight. After a new experience, ask yourself “What did I love? What did I learn?” and you will grow. Sustained thinkers look for a better, bigger, deeper answer.

Are You Nurturing Thoughts That Are Nurturing You?
https://youtu.be/wSbv-WrVPiY
Nurture Healthy Thoughts = What thoughts are you nurturing the most in your mind? Are those thoughts helping and serving you in the direction you want to go? Today is an opportunity for you to pre-decide the thoughts you are going to nurture. When you nurture healthy thoughts, it will lead you in a positive direction.

Good Thoughts Shared Become Great Thoughts
https://youtu.be/eHWHVMgr_68
Share Your Thoughts With Others = In John Maxwell’s book, How Successful People Think, he discusses 11 thinking patterns that successful people engage in that unsuccessful people do not. One of these thinking patterns is Shared Thinking.
Successful people share ideas and thoughts with the people around them and request feedback. When you share with others, there is an energy that births other thoughts. A great thought is not birthed in a vacuum. Great thinking is a result of sharing thoughts and ideas with others. John says “Some of my best thinking has been done by others.” Do you share your thoughts, and allow others the opportunity to make them better?

Good Thoughts Shared Become Great Thoughts
What Kind Of Thinker Are You?= John Maxwell’s book, How Successful People Think, has helped millions of people. Watch as John discusses the inspiration behind the book and how his father discovered from a young age the incredible power of thinking.
The greatest gap between successful and unsuccessful people is the thinking gap. Successful people think differently, which controls their behavior and determines the direction of their lives.

What Big-Picture Thinking Can Do For You

Sustained Thinking is Strong Thinking
https://youtu.be/ERsX3PrJt24
Do You Sit With Your Thoughts And Ideas? = In John Maxwell’s book, How Successful People Think, he discusses 11 thinking patterns that successful people engage in, that unsuccessful people do not. One of these thinking patterns is Sustained Thinking.
Sustained thinking is the ability to take a thought and stay with it longer than people typically do. If you take a fleeting thought, and sit with it for a long while, it has the potential to mature and become a great thought.
Your first thought is not going to be a great thought. Stick with it! Sustain your thought, and it will become better and may even mature into a great thought. Do you sit with your thoughts and ideas long enough?

Reflect and Think = Think daily to apply what you learn in life. Reflection turns experience into insight. By spending time thinking and reflecting on what you learn and experience, you can extract from that experience and reflect on your personal growth.

The Hallmarks of Being Thoughtful | MWM
Thoughtful | MWM
https://youtu.be/ANCGp5ORqbE
Way Above Average = What makes someone thoughtful? A person who maximizes their words and actions. The first step to thoughtfulness is thinking about others.
Thoughtfulness Is An Asset In Life = A thoughtful person is one who spends their time maximizing their words and actions. This type of person's words and actions weigh more than others because they have taken the time to think about others before taking action. So quit thinking about yourself and become a person of significance—a person of thoughtfulness.
Thoughtfulness is the stepping stone to making an impact = A thoughtful person spends their time maximizing their words and their actions. Their words weigh more than average words. Their actions weigh more than average words. When they take action, it has a great impact, and even greater return. They are considered wise and considerate. The example they set is above average. But why? Because they quit thinking of themselves and put others first, and they were able to become a person of significance.

Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life
https://youtu.be/Rga9QS31-Y4
Leaders, if you’re looking to lead powerful, positive change in yourself or your organization, it can be hard to know where to start. John Maxwell says that everything begins with a thought, which is why leaders need to examine their thinking. What you think determines what you do and who you are.
In this episode, John Maxwell teaches how changing your thinking can change your life. After John’s lesson, Mark Cole and Traci Morrow discuss how they implement John’s principles into their own life, and they also offer you some real-world applications.
