Partnership Quotes

Quotes About Partnership

  • A wedding anniversary is a celebration of love, trust, partnership, tolerance and tenacity. The order varies for any given year.
  • There is no peace among equals because equality doesn't exist in this universe. Either one prevails and the other follows, or both negotiate their differences and create a greater partnership.

A Good Partner is Hard to Find | MWM
Appreciate The Power Of Partnership = Partnerships, or work connections, can be rewarding and humbling. True partnership is one of the greatest gifts one could give you. Pause today, and appreciate the power and honor of the partnerships you have in your life. Great partners are hard to find, so when you do find one, express your gratitude.

Iron Sharpens Iron; Values Sharpen Values | MWM
Collaborate With Those Who Share Your Values = Partner with like-valued people—those who share your core values and ethical standards. These partnerships can lead to meaningful collaboration and result in sustainable relationships that have a strong foundation!

Can You Partner With Someone Who Disagrees With You? | MWM
Don’t Attach A Person’s Ideas To Their Motives = Great leaders are able to partner with people they disagree with. Disagreeing with someone is not the same as someone having a disagreeable character. There is a significant difference between believing the other side’s ideas are wrong and believing the other side’s motives are wrong. Disagreeing in a partnership is not a problem, but can be a strength if you learn how to work together. Leveraging differences as strengths in a partnership can strengthen you, your team, and your perspective.

We are Better Together | MWM
We Need Each Other = The best way to maximize positive outcomes is to partner with othersImprovement is limited without partnershipSharing influence and networking with others opens a whole new world to everyone involved. One is too small of a number to achieve greatness, it takes a partnership.

Partnerships are a great way for leaders to expand beyond their own limitations. When you partner with someone, you acquire their potential in addition to your own. Together, you have the ability to conquer new ground and increase your influence.

Building alliances is paramount to accomplishing much—working well together to increase effectiveness and return. If you have small goals and want to accomplish very little, go it alone. But if your dream is big and you want your influence to reach far, you’re going to need more than a one-man or woman crew. Come together to make great, world-changing things happen!

Partnership
P`ARTNERSHIP, n. The association of two or more persons for the purpose of undertaking and prosecuting any business, particularly trade or manufactures, at their joint expense. In this case, the connection is formed by contract; each partner furnishing a part of the capital stock and being entitled to a proportional share of profit, or subject to a proportional share of loss; or one or more of the partners may furnish money or stock, and the other or others contribute their services. The duration of the partnership may be limited by the contract, or it may be left indefinite, subject to be dissolved by mutual agreement. A partnership or association of this kind is a standing or permanent company, and is denominated a firm or house. We say, A and B entered into partnership for the importation and sale of goods, or for manufacturing cotton or glass.
Partnerships may be and usually are associations of private persons, not incorporated. In other cases, the company is incorporated. Banking companies in the United States are usually incorporated, and are essentially partnerships, but do not bear that name. Manufacturing companies are also frequently incorporated.
1. Joint interest or property.

Scriptures
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NLT) Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?
Philippians 1:5 for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.
1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT) God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Philippians 4:15 - And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only.
Philippians 1:5 - because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible to keep on restoring to repentance time and again people who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have become partners with the Holy Spirit,
Philippians 2:13 ESV For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

You Lead Better When You Acknowledge Your Failures | MWM
Embrace Authenticity = Embrace honesty when you make mistakes. People respect leaders who openly admit when they are wrong and work to make things right. When you are willing to be vulnerable—accepting and learning from your mistakes and failures—you and your team can move forward. Authenticity doesn’t guarantee success, but inauthenticity guarantees failure.

Authenticity Earns Credibility
Be Authentic And Real = We all want to have honest relationships and be around people who are honest. Honest people are truthful, what they say is reflected in what they do. They have a sense of character and authenticity. Everyone has good days and bad days, and when we admit that and walk through life in the middle of the road, we develop credibility and live honestly.

Keep Your Composure

Stress is a normal part of life. But it can become a problem when it dominates your life. If you feel your composure slipping, perhaps it’s because you are entirely too focused on the small picture. When you get caught up in the obstacle that appears directly in front of you—hindering your next few steps—look up, look farther, look beyond the problem at the big picture. That’s where you will find the possibilities, and along with those possibilities, your composure.

How To Reach Your Dreams
How To Reach Your Dreams = Imagination allows people to see themselves not only as they are, but as they imagine themselves to be. Imagination, paired with determination, allows you to reach your dreams.

Imagination
Imagination calls us to see things as they could be rather than as they are. When our imagination is ticking, we are leaving behind all our perceived and uninvited limitations, and we are reaching for things unseen, things we wholeheartedly believe can “be,” things that already “are” in our minds. When you go throughout your day today, be aware of your response to the world around you. Are you more often asking yourself, “Why?” or are you instead boldly venturing to ask, “Why not?!”

Be a 'Why Not?' Person

Have you ever hit a wall and thought, "I wonder what is on the other side." Allow your imagination to go and dream about your next chapter. That's the best part about imagination, there are no set boundaries - dream on!

Imagination

Imagine
You probably get asked this a lot, where do you imagine yourself in five to ten years? Do you remember when you were a kid and it seemed like your imagination ran freely and there were no limits to where it could go? As we get older we seem to lose that ability to imagine. What can you imagine for yourself? Take five minutes today to answer that question!

Believe in 'More'

When you stop and take a look around, it is incredible all the discoveries you will see. Those discoveries happened because people took a moment and imagined why the world would be better with them in it. Your imagination is a beautiful thing that you should never take for granted! So next time you look at something, imagine what it could be and go after it.

How Do Your People See You? | MWM
Live A Life That Matches Your Vision = In his book, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, John Maxwell discusses the Law of Buy-in, which says that people buy-in to the leader then the vision. Leaders cast vision. If people have bought-in to you as a leader, they will buy-in to you as the visionary. People see you before the vision, so you must match your vision. Live the life, go the way, and show the way, because you know the way.

The Foundation of Leadership | MWM Solid Ground
Earning Trust Is Essential = In his book, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, John Maxwell discusses the Law of Solid Ground, which says that trust is the foundation of leadership. Trust is vital in all relationships. Once people can trust you and feel safe with you, they are ready to let you lead them. Earn people’s trust by respecting them, putting their interests at the top of your agenda, and doing the right things for the right reasons. If you earn trust, you will become a leader that people want to follow.

This is What Trust in Your Team Looks Like
Show Confidence In Others = One of the 7 words of love from Joel Manby’s book, Love Worksis Trusting—a very powerful leadership principle. The definition of trusting is to show confidence in someone. Three things to think about if you want to be more trusting and show confidence in the people you lead are …
  1. Give others clarity: Without clarity there is cruelty. Be clear on what success looks like, and what the expectations are.
  2. Show empowerment: What is the worst thing that can happen here, and can you live with it? Let others make mistakes they will learn from.
  3. Always ask questions: Don’t give all the answers.

You will be a better servant leader if you learn to trust and put confidence in the people you lead. Learn more about the 7 Timeless Principles For Effective Leaders in Love Works

God Is In Everything—Trust Him = God knows what's best for your life, and His ways are higher than yours, so you have to have faith and trust that He is going to take care of you. Have faith, obey Him. If you obey Him, you will see His hand in everything—if you cannot trace His hand, you can always trust His heart.

Build Trust | MWM
The Foundation = The foundation of your relationship - consistently staying true to yourself, being honest, and sticking to your word. Building trust and maintaining it will open up a world of possibilities.

Live by These Three Things... = Start within you - then naturally, you will believe in others. Build yourself up, lead with affirmations, and believe in them every single day!
