How to Leave the World A Better Place
https://youtu.be/3fBXC6asdM0
Time To Step Up = Mentors don’t only provide wise counsel, but they lead by example. They have the opportunity to groom and cultivate others for success. You need mentors in your life, but maybe it is time to step up and mentor someone else.

Someone to Believe in You - People who know the way, go the way, and show the way. These people are called, Mentors. How special to have people in your life who want to see you become successful and deposit special information they know will help you grow. Who is your biggest mentor?

Leadership is visual—people will do what they see. When one person is doing and another person is watching, the person “doing” has become the other person’s mentor. And that person who is watching, is also likely growing. Spend time with others, keep them close-by, and let them watch you. You should be doing what you know they can become. That’s how you add value to others as a leader and mentor.

Today’s word is MENTORING, and these are just 4 defining characteristics of a quality mentor.

1. Walks alongside you
2. A brain to pick
3. An ear to listen
4. Possesses maturity

A mentor brings their experience into your life and colors it with maturity, soundness, and wisdom. A mentor is someone who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.

Whether it is your favorite author, or perhaps a life-long friend, look for the person who can help guide you on the successful path in life and wants to see you succeed.

If you think mentoring is all about teaching, You're WRONG! It’s About This

The Significance of Small Steps | MWM
Small Steps Are The Stepping Stone To Bigger Things = Quantum leaps do not happen without small steps. What small steps have you decided not to take because you were looking for a bigger one? The quantum leaps that you desire will not happen without short, mundane, seemingly insignificant small steps. By taking those small, persistent steps, you can find success.

Perfectionism is Rooted in Fear
Chose Progress Over Perfection = So many of us struggle with perfectionism. It is rooted in fear and can lead to procrastination. Instead of being a perfectionist, focus on excellence—learning in the journey—the process of making something good and then great. Perfectionism is elusive, it is a state that you can never reach. If you choose excellence over perfectionism, you are choosing progress over perfection.

The Starting Point of Authenticity
Learn And Grow = Vulnerable people are authentic, real, genuine, and Honest. When we become vulnerable we are in touch with who we are. We become teachable because we are no longer carried away with ourselves. Vulnerability allows us to learn and grow.

Do People Really Want Perfect? | MWM
Progress Over Perfectionism = Being perfect or perfectionism is often viewed as the goal, but what people truly seek is authenticity—someone they can know, like, and trust. It's okay to be vulnerable and show the real you because progress, not perfection, is what truly matters. By embracing our imperfections and allowing others to see our true selves, we build trust and deepen connections.

Scriptures
Hebrews 12:2 [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love.
Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Philippians 3:12 I do not say that I have already won the race or have already reached perfection. But I am pressing on, striving to lay hold of the prize for which also Christ has laid hold of me.
Job 37:16 (NLT) Do you understand how he moves the clouds with wonderful perfection and skill?
Hebrews 7:11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?
Ecclesiastes 7:20 ESV Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.
Matthew 5:48 ESV You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Philippians 3:12-15 ESV Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.
